Eastern Ridge Adventures

Eastern Ridge Adventures was established in 2004, offering guided black bear hunts over active Bait Sites or with Hounds.  We provide a complete hunting package which includes lakeside lodging, meals, game recovery and care, skinning, quartering, and trophy preparation.  

Our Registered Maine Guides maintain over 110 active bait sites ensuring ample opportunity for hunter success.  All our bait sites are monitored by game cameras and our hunters are encouraged to participate in the checking and viewing of game activity.

Meet the Owner
​Joshua Rhodes
​

Joshua graduated from the University of Maine in 2000 with a Bachelor degree in Outdoor Recreation Management.  Following his dream of owning a Sporting camp he worked hard to become a Registered Maine Hunting Guide in 2003, and established Eastern Ridge Adventures guide service in 2004.  After 20 plus years of great success, he continues to follow his passion guiding hunters from around the country!
Joshua takes great pride in his 3 children who grew up around bear camp.  The adventures and memories hunting with his children are his greatest successes.  The value of passing along hunting traditions cannot be matched.  
   

Location 

We are located in beautiful Northfield Maine, surrounded by wild blueberry barrens and thick natural forests.
