| Eastern Ridge Adventures offers Spring black bear hunts over active bait sites in the State of Maine. We hold exclusive rights to hunt Passamaquoddy Indian Land in Down East Maine. We focus on personalized, quality hunts and only accept 6 - 8 hunters in camp each week during the 2012 Spring season. Fully Guided Hunting Package: We provide a hunting package that meets all your needs with one great price! We welcome small groups, individual hunters, youth hunters, and non-hunting guests during the Spring season. Private cottages and cabins are available on the lake. Camp boats are available free of charge to enjoy the lake or to do some great small mouth bass fishing! |

Hunting License/Permit: Our staff will collect the needed information and
$300 fee from you and complete all paperwork with the Passamaquoddy
Warden Service. Your license will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Lodging: Our guests enjoy lakeside lodging on crystal clear Bog and Big
lakes for 7 nights. All your bed and bathroom linens are provided. Please
visit our lodging page to view the cabins and cottages and other amenities
available.
Your Guide: Your guide transports you to the hunting grounds each day
and guides you into your stand. He will discuss bear movement for the
area and proceed to replenish your bait site as you sneak into your tree
stand. Each evening your guide will return and assist you out of the woods.
Bear Recovery and Care: We provide tracking and recovery, game care,
game transportation and registration, skinning, and quartering. We will
help you arrange butchering services if desired. We own plott hounds for
tracking wounded bear which significantly increases recovery percentages.
We DO NOT leave hunters in the woods until late hours in the night.
ALL hunters are assisted out of the woods prior to recovering any bears
after dark. Client safety and success are our First Priorities!
Hide and Meat Care: To ensure proper and safe care of your harvested
bear we have our own walk in cooler, portable insulated box, and freezers.
This keeps your bear at the correct temperatures to prevent hair slippage
on the hide prior to taxidermy and your bear meat from spoiling.
Our Commitment To You: We are committed to our guests success. We
enjoy the hunt as much as you do and will do everything possible to help
you be successful. We work very hard and have ALL our bear sites active
and ready for our guests arrival. Talk to some of our past hunters and

possible to minimize movement and to enjoy your time
in the Maine woods. Our single stands have padded
seats, arm rails, and shooting rails. Safety harnesses
are available for every hunter to use. Ground blinds
are made upon request.
Tree stands will be set up to accommodate left and
right hand hunters and for which weapon they will be
using. We welcome rifle, shotgun, muzzle loader, hand
gun, and archery hunters.

shots between 25 - 50 yards. Hand gun and archery
hunters can expect shots 15 - 30 yards, but never over
your comfort level.

The Bangor International Airport is the closest airport to
our camps (1.5 hours away from Northfield and 2.5 hours
from Grand Lake Stream). Airports are also located in
Portland, Maine and Manchester, NH. Rental vehicles
are available at each airport.

There is a $300 Passamaquoddy hunting license
required for this hunt. This is the only
